The Project:
Core Project Consulting was appointed to review the specification provided by a quality painting company. The reason that we were engaged was for the Strata Committee to have the confidence that the works were performed as specified.

This building is located harbour side at Kirribilli. The client had engaged a designer to recommend paint colours to complement the local surrounds and to modernise the building. Core was requested to review the quote to see if the scope of works and specifications supervise the works to ensure they were completed to a high standard. 

Our Process:
Once the documents were reviewed it was clear that scope lacked remedial building specifications and repair methods. We assisted the owners with the contractor to prepare a scope for the repairs prior to the repainting of the building. We then provided technical supervision services to ensure that works were carried out in accordance to the specifications ensuring the quality of workmanship. It was critical to ensure that the designer and owners plans were carefully implemented and executed. Core worked carefully with the painter and contractors to deliver an excellent result.

The Outcome:
The overall result was fantastic, largely due to the great teamwork. Any issues raised were quickly dealt with to ensure the project cost and timeline remained on target.
